I made this post on Saturday, Sept. 22nd. In regards to my sinus issue, I never have any problems in the summer if not at all. As the weather is changing, I experienced a sore throat, nose congestion, and the occasional cough. This sounds miserable, doesn’t it? Sometimes it is, other times it’s manageable. I don’t take medicine, but I do try to take care of myself. (Judge me not.)

Nevertheless, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It sounds weird, I know, but it’s true. I’ll sacrifice for the greater good of fall time. I simply keep tissues in arms reach and drink water ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ever since I took a “required” class on the history of mathematics, I always referred to the first day of autumn as The Autumnal Equinox. On this day, the sun is traveling south on the celestial equator and the sunlight and moonlight have the same amount of time to shine within 24 hours. I love watching the leaves change and fall on the ground. When my siblings and I were kids, we would go into my grandma and papa’s backyard to try and catch these special leaves that fall like helicopters. Sometimes I collect a pretty leaf or two and leave it in my car or by my bed. I still have leaves in my scrapbook from when I was a kid. (Side Bar: Do people still scrapbook anymore? I haven’t done it since highschool.)

I drink hot tea all-year round, so that’s not seasonal for me. I love drinking hot apple cider and sometimes trying the seasonal fall fancy coffees from Starbucks. I have tried the Salted Caramel Mocha so far… it’s good, not something I’d see myself getting often. However… Pumpkin Spice Latte (a.k.a. PSL)… I do plan on getting that again. My mentor bought it for me and let me teeelllllll you… honey, I didn’t expect to like it! I’ve learned a lil while ago that I do not like the taste of pumpkin. I still don’t like it, but I do like PSL now!

As the season changes, so does my wardrobe. Yep, that’s right, IT’S BOOTS SEASON! I love wearing boots and scarves… and HOODIES! I got so excited when I was able to take my hoodies out!

Oohhh aaannndddd I wanna go on a hayride! I wanna partake in autumn festivities!

Halloween is also drawing near and stores have already brought out the candy earlier this month. I don’t really celebrate the holiday but there are some things that I partake in. Although I don’t eat candy that much, I can get candy any other day of the year. However, I do like to watch the movies! Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, Twitches, The Haunted Mansion, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Adams Family… those types of Halloween movies. I don’t do Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy Krueger, or any other scary/superstitious/gory/disturbing/haunted movies. No ma’am, no sir!

I can go on, but I’ll stop there. I love the fall and I welcome the harvest with open arms ๐Ÿ™‚

Hair Update

I did find a deep conditioner (a.k.a. DC) that I think is doable for me! There are so many nice looking DCs that I’ve seen other YouTubers use, yet I haven’t made the attempt to try them myself. I’ll be honest and say that I don’t deep condition as much as I should. I strive for once a month, but I don’t feel like doing it most of the time lol. I even broke down and only wash my hair biweekly vs. my normal once a week. Nevertheless, I’m pushing myself to deep condition whenever I wash my hair, which will be twice a month. PLUS, it’s fall now which means the weather will begin to mess with my hair.

The DC that I’m referring to is the Ausie 3-Minute Miracle Moist. It smells good and I love it! It gets my hair soft, moisturized, and manageable. Tangling in the shower is also a breeze. I’d buy it again ๐Ÿ™‚

I wanna try more DCs so that I can get another feel of what my hair wants and needs. Aaannndddd I know that I’m late to the party, but I also want to try Curls Cashmere and Caviar line soon! Until then… I’ll continue to do my hair like normal.
