Hello everyone! I wanted to blog about music while working out.
I have a question: when you workout, how important is listening to music? I can only speak for myself when I say that listening to music while working out is a must! When I leave my earbuds at home, I am super salty and I have to really motivate myself to get through the workout session. I can’t say that I have any songs/albums that are a must-listen-to during workouts, but I do have a preference.
My playlist has to keep me motivated; so upbeat songs are a must-listen-to. These songs can range from super inspirational to super ratchet. (Sidenote: I have listened to a book before while working out. It was a non-fiction book that made me laugh, which was weird yet a good distraction to me.)
I have a playlist on both YouTube and Amazon Music. (Don’t judge me! I need some variety in my life!) Out of the two playlists, I listen to the one on YouTube the most. On Amazon Music, I normally listen to stations like the 90s R&B and the Pop Station, but as long as the station has non-mellow songs I’m good. As for Spotify I have certain albums that are my go-to, but lately I have been listening to a playlist called “Queen Tings” by NiaTheLight and it is the bomb!
For this blog, I wanted to share my YouTube workout playlist with you all! It is a bit lengthy since I keep adding songs to it and there isn’t any significance on the order of the songs; just in what I feel like listening to. Enjoy 🙂
