It’s December 1st… DECEMBER. THE. FREAKING 1ST. Where did the time go?! Even though the year is almost over, I love this time of year. LOVE. IT.
Although this holiday season is very difficult for some people, for others it’s also the season of love, giving, family, and friends. From Christmas to New Years to Kwanzaa, the month of December is needed for this world – like an international month of joy.
Honestly I started preparing for this month on November 1st by listening to Christmas music every now and then. Now I’m preparing my Christmas playlist. (Judge me not.)
I’m also a big kid during this season. I can’t wait to sit and watch Christmas movies, cartoons, and stop-motioned animations that come on Free Form (formally known as ABC Family). Oh and Hallmark movies! (They began late October FYI.)
During this season, I hope and pray that this is an enjoyable season for everyone. I hope this season can be very memorable for you all. For those who have lost a loved one, I hope and pray that you have a better season than the last. Even though the situation may be different, I know it’s hard to experience a holiday without that very special someone. I’ve done it for 5 years now. The Temptations’ rendition of “Silent Night” is never the same for me, but it helps to focus on the now and not what once was. Tap into the joy that lives within you, that yet somehow became dormant. Enjoy this season! We don’t get another December 2017 😉
And I other news…
What Am I Reading Right Now?
Now I know this may come to a shock to those who know the relationship between me and non-fiction books, but I can’t help it when I see (or have seen) someone who has an amazing persona in person. I love it so far! Maayyybbbbeeeee I’ll write a review on it… we’ll see 🙂
