Out of all of the thrift book store books that I bought along with a friend, I chose this one to read next. I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t usually hear a television commercial about books made by authors. I heard about his adult books and kids books from commercials on television, which is rare to me. This was my first James Patterson book, and it’s definitely not a book for kids.

The book was about trying to make sure that someone doesn’t get kidnapped, but there are a series of events that take place along the way. As I was reading, there were a couple moments that had me predicting what might happen (and I was confident that it would), but it turns into a different direction as I continued to read. Only a few events were confusing to me, especially at the end… as in why did it have to be this way? Who knows? Only James *shrugs*

Ever since college has ended (for now), it has been taking me a while to read books. So I started on this book back in May and put it on hold for a while… until this month. Overall, I liked the book! I thought that it was very interesting, not a lot of cliff hangers (which is a good thing for me). I am very interested in books that are difficult for me to stop reading. Now… I know what you’re thinking – But it took you a while to read this one – but look, I didn’t give it the attention in May that books usually deserve *shrugs*

I really love the fact that the chapters are small, up to four pages long. Some were almost a little over half a page. Despite the fact that there were 116 chapters, it didn’t have me thinking there are a thousand pages in each chapter. Honestly don’t have a favorite part in the book because I liked the whole thing.

Would I recommend this book? Yes… yes, I would. I think it’s a good book.

Well, that’s it. Happy Reading, take care, and I hope you enjoy the weekend 🙂
